About Me

In my long career in Information Technology I was software engineer, test engineer and troubleshooter in large complex development- and implementation projects for e.g. Schiphol Baggage Handling, Heathrow T5 Baggage Handling and APMT Maasvlakte 2. In 2012 I founded Hawk IT as an independent contractor, to allow myself to be a multi skilled IT professional in this rapidly changing IT landscape with new technologies as Internet of Things, Analytics and Big Data.
I always worked longer on projects than originally planned, because my role changed during projects.
Starting as Test Engineer or Software Developer, changing to Trouble-shooter and finally ending as developer of solutions to monitor the implemented products.
And this is what I really like about being an independent IT Professional.
